In 2Moons, for low level characters, the dagger and bow are primarily used. However, at level 90 a decision should be made about weapon usage. When you receive the level 90 skill Demolition Bomb, it is very common for hunters to pick up their very first crossbow. Before demobomb, there are no useful crossbow skills. There is a choice to be made as to what weapon set to use (Crossbow/Bow, Crossbow/Dagger, or Bow/Dagger). Many hunters choose the Crossbow/Bow route, as the dagger (at this level) has only 1 useful skill, Dead Spin. However, Dead Spin should not be underestimated.

Run around with the Dagger/Crossbow, when doing solo farming. You will lose Triangle Shot and Fiore Novas, but will have a much easier time staying alive by using Dead Spin. In this setup, you will want to use the tactics below for Dagger/Crossbow.

If you are part of a party a more common build to use is the Bow/Crossbow. This will maximize the amount of AOE attacks (especially in Crevice dungeon and Dead Front).

The Bow/Dagger setup is usually not as common in PvE. Demobomb is a great skill for large mobs and is unmatched by any skill in the Bow only line, as well as the fact that the crossbow will have a greater base damage.

Usually when I am playing I carry one of each weapon. Set up with Bow/Crossbow for party play, and Crossbow/Dagger for solo farming.

For higher levels, I like grabbing the Dagger for your level. The 115 dagger only costs 4 more STR to equip than the 130 crossbow, and daggers are very cheap. You will be surprised how much damage you can inflict with Dead Spin once it is fully leveled at 112.
